GARDEN WRITER | DESIGNER

This project is on a sloping site with an existing lower deck accessed by very steep steps from the house. I designed new steps to the side of the garden, making entry to the lower levels more leisurely and safer, and creating more space for outdoor living on the top deck. The lower level is planted with a mix of screen trees and shade loving plants. A new vegetable potager allows the owners to grow their own produce. At the front of the house the path is lined with oioi, a native reed.
